Pastoral Ministry

Reconciliation of a Penitent(Confession) before all major Feast days.

Anointing with Oil and Laying on of Hands for the Sick – available at regular services and by request.

Very Active Pastoral Counseling Ministry – where people come to the clergy for advice, support, help, a listening ear and along-sidedness in the journey of life.

The priests of this parish hear confessions before all the major feasts of the church. Times are advertised or by appointment. People come to make their confessions both from within the parish community and outside it.

The rite used is that in the Book of Common Prayer. If your conscience is troubling you or for a good spiritual discipline this ministry is available to all Episcopalians.

Remember the words of Archbishop Michael Ramsey when talking about confession for Anglicans and Episcoplians said “all can, some should, none must.” If you would like to avail yourself of this ministry as others do, know our priests are here for you. If you have never made a private confession but would like to explore it as others have done as well as regular parish penitents, instruction is given so please don’t be anxious or put off from benefiting from this wonderful gift to the church.

This parish has a very active ministry in the following areas and all enquirers are invited to contact the clergy for our Parish Guidelines.
